History
Originally founded in Estonia, Fitek built a multinational business by insourcing customers’ accounts receivable operations — from generating invoices to delivering them via e-invoicing networks, email, and even traditional mail. The company also offered services such as EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), accounts payable processing, and payment facilitation.
In 2019, Fitek was acquired by the Belgian-based Unifiedpost Group and rebranded under the Unifiedpost name. In 2024, all Unifiedpost services and platforms related to accounts payable were spun off and acquired by Mait Sooaru, former CEO of Fitek, and the Tallinn-based private equity firm BaltCap. Mait returned as CEO, and the new business proudly revived the Fitek name.

Today, over 2,000 customers and 40,000 users rely on Fitek’s platforms to power their financial processes with speed and precision.
Our customer base includes enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses, municipalities, government institutions, airlines, and airports — spanning Belgium, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Romania, and continues to grow across Europe.
